In the case of the LED strips, we are talking about 12V or 24V. When choosing the power supply, it is also necessary to calculate the output of the power supply, which is determined by the length and power of the LED strip used. When selecting the LED power supply, after calculating the power required, it is considered a good practice to increase the value by about 10%.

Requires installation of an LED driver

A controller is necessary for installing an RGB+CCT LED strip. It allows for the selection of a color from the RGB color palette or changing the color temperature. The driver is mounted behind the power supply, so it is important to choose the right voltage.
